GENERAL SHOP ASSISTANT - 40 HOURS A WEEK - Tuesday to Saturday

Main Duties

Il Porticciolo is a London based children’s wear multi brand that focuses on traditional Italian style and elegance for 0 to 12 year olds. It Porticciolo provides a variety of plain colours pure cashmere or pure merino wool jumpers, traditional hand and machine smocked dresses, embroidered collar shirts with heirloom standards. All children’s clothes are exclusively produced in Italy and finished by artisans to achieve an excellent quality. We are looking for a General assistant to become part of our team in our Chelsea shop and help with general tasks and creative social media. 

Activities will include:

Running the website sales and orders (shipments)

Managing and creating content for social media 

create content for website blog

design and create newsletter

Some Returns and Pick ups

help with shop sales

What you will learn / We will teach you: Learning the running of a small growing fashion business. We will teach you how to liase effectively with clients. You will learn all the logistics that a small business has to face You will be involved in the creative side of all the new collections You will learn the production side of the business, liasing with customers, social media, website running.

Skills and Experience Required

Profile: A highly organised and enthusiastic individual with the ability to use their initiative and multi task. Excellent English language skills, both written and verbally is essential. Ideally someone with a social media background and Shopify knowledge.
