Your Parcel will be available for collection 24 Hours after your purchase. We will keep your parcel in store (253 King's Road, Chelsea) for you to pick up. You will be able to cancel/return your order only in the first 14 days as per return policy.

In the case the consumer is not completely satisfied with the product he can send us an email stating their order number and proof of payment within 14 days from receiving the product to help@ilporticciolo.co.uk.

He can bring to our shop or ship on his costs the returned product to our address: 253 King's Road, SW3 5EL, London, United Kingdom. As soon as we receive the products we will reimburse directly on the method of payment.

EUROPE and REST OF THE WORLD (Except USA)

As soon as the products arrive we will refund directly on the method of payment used on the website. Returns from outside EUROPE need to be marked: BRITISH RETURNED GOODS.

Sales are final. No refund or change can be offered. We ship to USA taxes and duty prepaid so we can't organise returns.

At Il Porticciolo, each piece is made with love and designed to last. Proper care will help preserve the beauty, comfort, and quality of your child’s wardrobe. Below you’ll find care instructions by fabric type.

Knitwear Care (Wool, Cashmere, Merino)

Our Italian knitwear is delicate and deserves special attention:

• Hand wash in cold water with a gentle wool detergent.

• Avoid wringing; instead, gently press out excess water.

• Dry flat on a towel, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

• Store folded – never hang – to maintain shape and prevent stretching.

• For pilling, use a fabric comb or depiller gently.

Cotton Care

Soft, breathable, and durable – our cotton garments are perfect for everyday wear.

• Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle.

• Wash inside out to preserve colour and prints.

• Use mild detergent – avoid bleach or strong stain removers.

• Tumble dry low or hang dry naturally.

• Iron on medium heat if needed.

Denim Care

Our Italian denim combines style and practicality. Treat it well to retain its shape and colour.

• Turn inside out and wash at 30°C with like colours.

• Avoid frequent washing to maintain the natural fade.

• Air dry – tumble drying can shrink or weaken the fabric.

• Do not bleach.

• Iron on reverse if needed.

General Garment Care Tips

• Always check the label inside your garment before washing.

• Wash similar colours together.

• Avoid overloading the washing machine – clothes need space to move.

• For items with prints or embellishments, consider placing them in a laundry bag.

• Avoid fabric softener on performance fabrics or stretchy items.
